Dinner Dialogue: Storytelling by Jerry Jenkins in Natchez, Mississippi

The 2026 "Walking in the Footsteps of a Prince" heritage USA tour was successfully conducted from May 8 through May 14, 2026, across Natchez, Mississippi; Hartford and West Hartford Connecticut, completing its journey in Norfolk Virginia. The initiative served as a multidisciplinary cultural, educational, academic, and community engagement effort focused on preserving and advancing the historical legacy of Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori.

The tour brought together educators, scholars, students, nonprofit organizations, museums, historical societies, faith-based institutions, and community leaders to foster dialogue surrounding cultural preservation, youth empowerment, historical education, and international collaboration.

A major emphasis of the 2026 initiative centered on developing practical community-based solutions while simultaneously strengthening transatlantic historical and cultural ties connected to the life and legacy of Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori.
