Founded by Princess Karen W.S. Brengettsy-Chatman’s father in 1993, The Official Royal House of Sori is dedicated to their mission of serving as a sovereign institute and custodian of the dynasty’s of Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima ibn Sori.

Through The Official Royal House of Sori, Her Royal Highness Princess Karen W.S. Brengettsy-Chatman is spearheading the preservation of the historical legacies, cultural traditions, and ancestral heritage of her direct ancestor, Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima ibn Sori, safeguarding the integrity, accuracy, and continuity of the dynasty’s narrative, spanning across continents, generations of people, and centuries of time.

“Under the overall umbrella of The Official Royal House of Sori, we have the Root 9 Foundation and Institute as our charity arm where we do outreach programs, and we also have The National Institute For The Legacy And Cultural Preservation Of Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori which serves as our research arm,” Princess BrengettsyChatman says.
