• The names “House of Sori,” “Royal House of Sori,” "Royal House of Sori Foundation", “House of Sori Foundation,” or any related or similar variations, which are protected identifiers of The Official Royal House of Sori®. Any use of these names whether by privately owned entities, organizations, foundations, kingdoms, or registered 501(c)(3) organizations, or by any entity using a confusingly similar designation, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization by The Official Royal House of Sori® .

• Claims of lineage, ancestry, familial connection, or membership with The Official Royal House of Sori® or its Sovereign, HRH Princess Karen W. S. Brengettsy‑Chatman, are restricted exclusively to verified descendants of Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori who are formally recognized as members of The Official Royal House of Sori®. Any individual or organization making such claims without verification is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recognized by The Official Royal House of Sori®.

• The Official Royal House of Sori® name, trademark, brand, and associated intellectual property are legally protected. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, representation, or infringement of these marks or the organization’s business identity is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Heritage & Lineage

Prince Abdulrahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori (1762-1829) is recognized as the patrilineal ancestor and founding father of our royal lineage. The Official Royal House of Sori® is a recognized custodial institution preserving and honoring his legacy and the heritage and maintains a registry of descendants that are members of The Official Royal House of Sori® .

As DNA mapping was not available in the 1800s to establish a genetic benchmark for Prince Abdulrahman's descendants, The Official Royal House of Sori® verifies our members claim of descent through a rigorous process utilizing documented historical records, genealogical and geographical mapping, and oral histories passed down through generations from the Natchez Line and Liberian Line:

• The Natchez Line: The Root Nine children who remained in Natchez, and surround areas of the State of Mississippi after the emancipation of Prince Abdulrahman and his wife Isabella in 1828.

• The Liberian Line: The two children of Prince Abdulrahman and Isabell "Levi and Simon", who joined their Mother Isabella in Monrovia Liberia after Prince Abdulrahman's death in1829.
